The Charlie — a long trench coat with raglan sleeves, double-breasted front, sleeve straps and a bucket belt. The silhouette retains the codes of the 19th-century original; the details are ours.

Quilted seams at the elbows and shoulders. Ivory cotton bias tape finishing. Named for its English heritage.

Currently available in safari beige and dark oak linen-cotton twill. As a made-to-measure piece, the Charlie can be made in any fabric — wool gabardine, linen, cotton — in the colour of your choice. Book a consultation to discuss.

An all-season coat. Wear it over the Carlotta dress in summer, or layered with the Angelina sweater on crisper days.
